Travelling out of Greenland

Even though there is no requirement that you must be fully vaccinated or have a negative test in order to travel out of Greenland, corona documentation may still be necessary:

If you live in Greenland and have previously been infected with COVID-19 within the last 14 days and 12 weeks, and you can document this with a PCR result, you can apply for an immunity certificate. Find more information here.

Examples of potential complications that could arise should you travel out of Greenland:

  • You are turned away at check-in because you exhibit symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Municipal and national borders are closed.
  • Ordering of test times abroad.

It is your own responsibility to at all times comply with the applicable requirements for people arriving in Denmark. You can learn more here.

Also, seek information about the local guidelines when you arrive in Denmark.
