Should you choose to travel out of Greenland, there is no guarantee that you can enter the country again on a specific date. Travelling out of Greenland is at your own risk. On arrival, the purpose of your journey must be characterised as necessary travel.
You must comply with the applicable regulations and guidelines in the country that you are travelling to. It is recommended that you follow the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ travel instructions and that you register with Danish travellers list.

Examples of potential complications that could arise should you travel out of Greenland:
- You are turned away at check-in because you exhibit symptoms of COVID-19.
- Municipal and national borders are closed.
- Ordering of test times abroad.
- Getting a test answer back before you depart.
Become familiar with the local guidelines on arrival in Denmark. It is your own responsibility to at all times comply with the applicable requirements for people arriving in Denmark.

Tests are offered all over Denmark. The public test centres are approved and are recommended. Some private test centres are approved but may require payment, which you must pay at your own cost.
