Prevention
Even though you are not sick, it is important that you help prevent the spread of infection. By doing so, we take care of ourselves and each other.
The most important elements in the prevention of infection are:
- Isolation. Infected persons should isolate.
- Hygiene. Follow the recommendations relating to coughing, washing of hands and use of hand sanitisers, and minimising and cleaning contact points.
- Distance. Face-to-face contact between people must be reduced, with focus on people keeping a distance from each other, the number of people present, frequency, duration, ventilation and the use of barriers.
